ICCA Silent Auction: A top class initiative for Young Meetings Professionals’ educational support

Once more, the International Congress & Convention Association run its popular Silent Auction in the framework of the 48th ICCA Congress & Exhibition held in Florence, Italy, 7-11 November 2009.

Part of the ICCA Education Fund, the Silent Auction is an inspired ICCA initiative to help raise funds to further promote educational opportunities for Young Meetings Professionals.

The record-breaking ICCA Congress 2009, attracting nearly 1.000 participants from 71 countries, was an excellent platform for the financial support of the ICCA Education Fund. The wonderful prizes that ICCA & ICCA members companies from all over the world had donated, including leisure packages, free registrations to various ICCA events and attractive objects, were auctioned during the Congress raising a total of 14.500€.

AC&C International, member of C&C International Group of Companies, has led a significant initiative to help raise funds for ICCA’s Education Fund. In cooperation with selected suppliers, AC&C International contributed to the auction by donating two impressive accommodation packages, which were sponsored by Nafplia Luxury Hotels and Porto Carras Grand Resort.

Both prizes were very popular among the bidders but there are only two winners who will have the chance to enjoy the unique hospitality of the two hotels.
